Overview Hydranautics ESPA2-LD

Hydranautics ESPA2 (Energy-Saving Polyamide) RO membranes continue to meet the ever-increasing demands of the water treatment industry. Users worldwide have made ESPA their first choice for high productivity and salt rejection. ESPA2 membranes have long been the industry leaders, with the highest productivity and rejection available, producing up to 14,000 GPD. Enjoy up to 250% greater productivity per membrane area compared with conventional polyamide membranes, at the lowest cost per gallon produced.

ESPA2-LD membranes feature Hydranautics LD Technology™ – high performance RO technology that helps reduce fouling from colloidal particles and biological growth. LD Technology uses proprietary feed spacers to reduce bio-growth (NSF 61 approved for drinking water). This innovative feed spacer design prevents trapping of small colloidal particles and improves the effectiveness of cleanings.

ESPA2 membranes provide optimum salt rejection and permeate flows. They are chosen when lower permeate TDS and lower feed pressures are needed. ESPA2 membranes offer highest energy efficiency at lowest costs and are used in large municipal wastewater reclamation plants.

ESPAB are low pressure brackish water membranes having a high rejection for boron.

ESPA2-LD membrane is available in diameters of 4.0 and 8.0 inches.

The ESPA2 membranes are available in the LD variant. Low differential LD Technology^® models are offered to minimize colloidal fouling when used with conventional pre-treatment equipment. These membranes offer consistently low feed pressures and longer intervals between cleanings.
